ThatSum Terms of Service

Effective: October 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of ThatSum (“That’s Summarized”), including its browser extension and the service at thatsum.com. By selecting “Agree and continue” or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and permitted use

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. You may submit content only when you have the right and authorization to access, copy, and process it. You must not use ThatSum to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, evade access controls or DRM, distribute malware, probe the service, overload it, or violate applicable law or a source site’s terms.

Your content

You retain your rights in submitted content. You grant us a limited license to retrieve, copy, transform, transmit to our processors, and temporarily store that content solely to provide and secure the service you requested. You are responsible for the content you submit and for obtaining any required consent.

AI-generated summaries

Summaries are generated with artificial intelligence and may contain omissions, inaccuracies, or formatting errors. They are study aids, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Verify important information against the original sources.

Prices, payment, and delivery

When payment is enabled, ThatSum shows an estimate before checkout. Taxes and the final total are displayed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Your summary begins after successful payment confirmation. Delivery depends on source availability and third-party services. Our Refund Policy applies.

Availability and termination

We may impose usage limits, reject unsupported sources, suspend abusive activity, change features, or discontinue the service. You can stop using the service at any time and can delete eligible summaries through the extension. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free output. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a paid request will not exceed the amount you paid for that request. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date. Material changes apply when you next accept or use the service.
